During the summer each one of our Christmas Trees is pruned by hand – to be sure that it’s look its best by Christmas morning!  This includes the trees at the top of one of the steepest hills above the demonstration vineyard – where Farmer Brian was working!

Speaking of Christmas trees – only two days until we celebrate the 50th Anniverary Meeting of the Connecticut Christmas Tree Growers Association at our farm. We’re busy busy busy decorating for Christmas, setting up spaces for lectures and demonstrations, making meals for 250 people for two days, and cleaning up the farm so that it looks its best!  Merry Christmas in August!
