The peaches are absolutely DELICIOUS this time of year.  We have been purchasing them by the box from our friends at Bishop’s Orchards and cooking up all sorts of delicious snacks and desserts.  Fruit salad, peach cobbler with ice cream, and our favorite – grilled peaches.  Simply slice the peaches in half, remove the pits, and place them directly on the grill over medium heat.  Cook just until the grill has left marks, but so the peach is still firm.  Grilled peaches are delicious on their own or drizzled with a balsamic syrup (shown).  For our Grillin’ On the Farm cooking class last Saturday we served grilled peaches on top of grilled brioche (or challah bread) with a dollop of honey sweetened yogurt.  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
